Thailand - Day 1 - Siam Ocean World and Grand Pearl Cruise

Our company outing is at Thailand for 2012. First time being out of the Philippines and I do not have the slightest idea what to expect, would it be more fun out of the Philippines or it will be worst...

May 21, was the first day of our trip, flight is at 10:25 AM via PAL at terminal 2. I directly when it to check in my luggage good thing our company was provided a special lane so the line is not that long. After that I went to immigration to give the fill out form with complete details and information.

Just not that long our plane PR 730 is already there and Kudos to PAL it was always on time!!!
It was at approximately 3 1/2 hours travel time from MNL to BKK. PAL served heavy meal with an option of Beef Paksiw or Chicken Pandan, I went for Beef Pandan the taste was ok, it was with salad, bread and drinks, ice cream for dessert.

We arrived at BKK airport, we were grouped according to colors for our bus tour. We got our check in luggage and then settle at our bus.

Day 1:
At 15:30, We directly went to Siam Ocean World, it was a great experience. We were able to experience the Glass Bottom Boat, but noticed that the girl assisting us in the boat is not that approachable if you ask her something about the fish she will truly ask you back and never answer you back.

We tour the whole Siam Ocean World to take some pictures and experience Thailand Manila Ocean Park version it was inside the mall and not that big but it was still ok.
We went back to the bus to transfer to our Hotel - The Imperial Queens Hotel. It is like a 5star hotel with it's amenities and service, the look of the hotel was like of Shangri La Plaza.

When we were at the hotel we just have to fix our self no time to take a bath since we have to run to the Dinner at Grand Pearl Cruise, the experience was awesome, the food are great nothing to complain and we just had fun fun fun!!!

We landed at Asiatique Riverfront mall, where we do some shopping for pasalubong and souvenirs, the prices are reasonable however it is still expensive compared to MBK.

Our bus tour was waiting for us at the parking lot then went back to the hotel at around 12:00AM, it was a tiring day but it did not stop us to check BKK night life.
