Food Review : Fishing Village at Island Cove
We had our staycation at Island Cove with my family, rented a hotel room then plunge into the pool, good thing the weather was on our side. Our kid's busy playing, swimming and eating, relaxing weekend for us.
Dinner time we ate at Fishing Village, this is the Island Cove's floating restaurant version but the kubo was fixed so it was not moving, we were there at around 5:30 PM, we checked the menu and have decided to order the following :
Prito Platter
Inihaw Platter
Sinigang ng Baboy

Prito Platter
Inihaw Platter
Sinigang ng Baboy
3 orders of rice
Our orders arrived after 45minutes to 1 hour from the time we ordered the food, but since we were too busy watching the proposal event from the next kubo, we did not notice the time. I can feel that there were mosquitoes around due to the water that sorrounds the restaurant. Our glass of drinks got this dirt from the lizard in the ceiling, so should be very careful before eating your order there might be unwanted things in there.
It seems hot that time so my kids were a bit uncomfortable, in terms of food, there was really nothing special about it, just typical taste nothing extra ordinary at all. The serving of the food was just ok.
Overall, this is not the typical restaurant we wanted to go back to because of the food, ambiance and being comfortable.
at least you and your family were able to relax, at least even for a while. for the food, better luck next time, on your next food adventure. I experienced that once in a while, too. hehe...
