Restaurant and Place Review : Cloud 9 Resort and Restaurant in Antipolo

As the name of the resort and restaurant means -- Cloud 9, it will bring you closest at the highest peak of the city in Antipolo also knows as little Baguio.

First timer as we are in Antipolo, we asked the locals for direction going to Cloud 9 (it was not hard since this is one of the famous tourist spot in Antipolo) it is said to be located in Sumulong Hi-way, it is noticeable since it is in a hilltop.  You will see that it's structure was done elegantly when it was still new, as of this day it was more of an antique and preserved place more than it's elegance.  It seems to me that they intentionally not reconstructed the place to preserved it's historical value, and they have proved it by posting the pictures of old times and memories like calendars as old as 1948, the antique statues that are displayed in the resto.

To those who are not really planning to eat in the restaurant  there are tables placed outside at the parking place still with a very nice view for a rental fee of 40php but you are not allowed to bring food from outside.

We took a shot to eat in their restaurant and we were not disappointed at all.  They offer food with generous servings and everything that we ordered pass our taste buds plus the price is very reasonable, in short we got what we paid for. (Happy me!)

I was more excited about the 360 degree view that the place offer, it is said to be free of charge when you eat in  their resto, for non customer you will have to pay 50php per head.

 My husband, eldest and youngest choose to stay with their fear of heights , while me and my middle child enjoyed the hanging bridge through the 360 view, I am not afraid of heights and I am really into adventure, we walk through the hanging bridge with just a net in between us, it is getting higher and higher and my feeling was just usual, I am not afraid of heights so I did not feel any fright at all. Walking there was just an easy breezy (literally enjoying the breeze!). When we arrived at the 360degree view then it was time to enjoy the place where you will get the mountain view of Sierra Madre, peaceful and relaxing to the eyes.  Turning your view a bit will lead you to a busy view of the city, still pleasant to the eyes since you will appreciate the calmness on top. Since we were there before the sunset so our view was cloudy but still romantic, one of the places you can propose to your girlfriend or date this coming valentine's.

When we went down, we still choose to take the bridge but you have the option to take the stairs to lead you to another exit/entrance for those people who can not take the hanging bridge. Then there was a half court in the parking place, hubby together with the kids played basketball, shooting for a while but I always miss then take photo of the view.
