Restaurant Review: Buffet at Cafe 1228 at New World Hotel

Christmas is equivalent to gift giving, gatherings and sharing sumptuous meal with the most important people in your life and to start off the Christmas season, here we are in the middle of the overflowing food a good buffet experience in Cafe 1228 at New World Hotel with my colleagues.

We chose to have our dinner buffet in Cafe 1228, we were not able to score the discounted rate in Metrodeal where they offer 48% valid until 30th November, so we had the published rate of P2,499 , just so you know the rate does not include unlimited drinks yet however coffee and tea are free, for any drinks other than that it will be another additional P399, however good news if you have BDO credit card, then you can take advantage of their promo that you get to only pay 50% off of the buffet published rate. Sounds good right, taste even better!!

We were in the hotel early to start the gastronomic experience.  Since still early there were less guest so this means more pictures for my blog! teehee

They have attentive waiters, they replenish dishes fast, served food are fresh, and cooked just the way I liked it. My favorite section is sushi and maki and they have different varieties, their made to order pasta is just the best, I love pasta, pizza and sushi and they are all in Cafe 1228.

Their desert is small pieces of heaven at the same time of tempation,  I love how their cakes and flan are made not too sweet but the bitterness is what it makes me get and grab more!!

Just too bad I did not like their prime baby back ribs that much since it was not that soft, there will be battle inside your mouth until you get tired chewing and you end up throwing it away rather than swallowing it!!tsk tsk

Paying the published rate would be so much for the varieties of the food choices, so taking advantage of the promo and discounted rates would be a very smart idea!!
