Boracay : Itinerary for Couples
We had our Boracay Getaway for Summer 2014. Our flight was via Caticlan, and our transfers was via our Hotel Boracay Regency. I am starting to love Philippine Airlines since we were on time with our arrival and departure schedule. Our flight going to Caticlan was 6:00 AM and arriving Caticlan at around 7: 00 AM, the travel going in there was smooth, no long lines, no inconvenience, no hussle. Loving my summer!
Upon arriving Caticlan airport a Hotel staff escorted us going to the van who will be taking us to the Port, we were so lucky that Boracay Regency have a private port, so we do not have the join in with the crowd going to the port plus they have a free bottled of water waiting for us there in a indoor waiting area, and a free seashell necklace welcome greetings, the feel was indeed special, you-are-getting-what-you-paid-for feel.
Upon arriving Boracay, there was still a van waiting for us there to pick up going to our hotel, I can already feel the excitement. However, when we were already in the hotel, the staff could not give us the room since the check in time should be at around 3PM, but as long as the room is already available they will surely give to us. We arrived there at 8AM, come 11PM, we still do not have any room available. Good thing we already started to explore Boracay while waiting but the time we wasted was already half of the day. Anyhow, after hearing my complain they gave me a good and spacious room, with pool view and balcony, our room also have the beachfront access.
Weather was fine at that day, too hot perfect for beach feel. The sand is powdery fine almost white sand, the beach have a lot of algae/moss but it was not that disturbing since as you walk towards the beach it is clear as a mirror.
Let me share to your my husband itinerary, this itinerary would be best if you are not interested to take any acitivies, or you are in a budget, you really opt to just relax and enjoy the scenery.

We do not have any activities, since my husband just underwent Cataract operation, not advisable to stress that much, we just beach bum, people watch and our bonding was really great we were able to talk anything we want, laugh at anything, get annoyed just because I could not take him a jumpshot picture, discuss our dreams our plans, we have not left the island and we were talking about going back there within this year.
I learned that it is not important getting a 5star hotel since you are not in the hotel most of the time, but it is advisable to get a decent hotel at least with a pool.
I will be blogging separately the reviews of the restaurant/clubs/foodchain we encountered and experienced in Boracay!
Fun is an understatement when you are in Boracay!! #loveboracay, thank you Boracay you are in the Philippines.
