Travel Tips : Baguio

Breaking in a brand new vehicle, is best done travelling in Baguio.  We went to Baguio for many reasons:

1. Family Road Trip Bonding before the 2014 year end.

2. First time to be here with hubby and kids.

3. Break in of our baby boy 3rdy (my hubby's car)

4. To feel the cold weather and the freshest air.

Anyway the list will have a long way to go but that is what on top of my mind.

Let me share to you what I have been looking for in a blog but I was not able before travelling and I have to find them out myself.

Toll Fees - I saved all the tickets and the prices (this changes and varies of course but this is the latest as of December 2014).

Ina Mansion - this is a very convenient place to stay, aside from a very reasonable price, they have safe parking area, the place is just infront of Burnham Park (playground entrance). You do not have to bring your car with you evertyime since there are alot of establishments that are just walking distance. We are a 2 families and room rates for us total of 10 (6 adults and 4 Kids) for just 3,500/night we stayed in a 2 bedroom condotel type and everything you need is just there.

Please take note to bring towels otherwise they will charge you 20php each for that and also for Kitchen Utensils also have additional charge but rates varies.

Baguio Market - I so love this place, this is where we bought sacks of vegetables, very affordable :

Sayote  - 7/KL
Carrots - 19/K
Brocolli - 30/KL
Onion / Garlic  - bought them by the sack still affordable
Strawberry - Let the saleslady that this is for travel so they have to choose the not so ripe one and they will put it in the box.

Night Market - prices here are not as low as what you think but if it is Ukay Ukay then you can get as low as 10php, but have to choose the best one.

December to February is the coldest month in Baguio, expect sudden nose bleeding, high blood pressure increases so wear the thickest jacket you can have must cover your feet with shoes, this is where your fancy boots can fit in.  Still be fab and embrace fashion even in the coldest time of the year.

As for the Break In, this is the best place to jive and to get to know maneuvering your car, no other place I can recommend and think of.
