Hotel Review : 5R Resort in Tagaytay
It is not a fancy resort but they have all the basic things you need. On a Holy week it is too hard to find a room available anywhere in Tagaytay and when we inquired we were surprised that they still have available family room. We got a room that comes with a receiving area and a bedroom, with fridge and aircon, though they do not offer kitchen utensils, but you can buy affordable food just around Tagaytay City. Their bedroom have a bunk bed and queen size bed that will surely fit even two families.
We checked in exactly 12:30 NN, had our lunch then kids rest preparing to swim. Their swimming pool is right across their hotel, as expected the water is freezing cold and when I tried joining our kids plunging in the pool just after 30 minutes I had the longest cramp I have ever experience, this was due to the wind and the cold water combine plus sign of aging equals I could not stand on my feet the pain was just too much, anyhow, right after my recovery we get back to the room to decide what to eat next, we decided to drive to rotonda and bought dinner at Andok's, went back to the hotel to find out that Walking Dead season 16 was on I was screaming the whole time while watching the scene were all intense (#notGlenn, #notDarren) then after dinner, prepared the kids to sleep with our yaya then hubby and I with my sis in laws went to Starbucks to just have a frappe and hot caramel for a break.
Went back to the hotel to watch a bit of a flick then prepared to sleep. Early morning the next day, we drove to Tagaytay Market to buy food for breakfast before leaving.
Had a blast and of course the kids enjoyed swimming, the room was spacious plus the money that we paid for was worth it, even this was not our first choice but still we were not disappointed. Nothing beats family time.
