2015: Baguio Itinerary

We traveled to  Baguio before Christmas, we were there Dec 22-24, and since traffic is still managable we were able to maximize our trip and enjoyed every seconds of our stay, it was a lay back type of vacation where we are able to bond, play, talk and make memories together.

Let me share with you our Itinerary, we opted not to go far from the Baguio City proper since we really wanted to be relaxed more than ever, and besides we have our youngest at her terrific two, so it is best for us to just be on a picnic-biking-photo op-kinda-mood.

2AM - Left Cavite
10AM --Arrived Baguio
Went directly to our Hotel, just to check location but did not Check in yet
Went to Burnham Park to have Breakfast and Lunch

11:45AM - Checked in sa Hotel
2PM - Went to Camp John Hay for a serious photo op with the family, ate merienda

Told you we are serious

When we are all striking a pose, my youngest is hungry

4PM - We visited SM Baguio, it is quite crowded that time, but still we enjoyed the view and the sunset, went to Burnham Park for another round of biking with the kids.

6PM - Dinner in Good Taste, I love this restaurant, affordable with generous serving.

8PM - Went back to the hotel while our eldest together with her Tita and Yaya went to night market

2nd day

9AM - Strawberry Fields bought strawberries and lettuce. Tried their strawberry ice cream the taste was so flavorful!

My daughter picking strawberries

12NN - Lunch in Camp John Hay picnic grounds.

1PM - went to Chocolate de Baritol, they rave the bitter sweet choco tried their Frappe and the bitter sweet does not blend well, I guess it is much better if I tried the hot choco instead.

2PM - While our kids went biking in Burnham ParK, hubby and I went to Baguio market to hoard vegetables and strawberry flavored wines. Do not expect very affordable veggies in Baguio at this time, but still more affordable compared the prices in the mall.

5PM- We parked in Good Taste since we will having our dinner there again, and went back to Burnham Park to check our kids.

6PM - We walked to Good Taste for dinner, then since we are already parked there we went directly to our Hotel

9PM onwards - Went to night market bought a lot of good finds!

3rd day

8AM - We checked our from our hotel, then our kids went biking again!
9AM - Went to Good taste again to order for our Noche Buena Dish Ordered Pork Rib Roast and added Wines for give aways

10AM - Left Baguio
2PM- Arrived Cavite

Baguio is a place where local motorist give way, they have courtesy on the road and very easy to determine whether the driver is a local or a tourist.

The temperature was at 13 degree celcius when we were there, so glad we were all equiped with winter outifits.

We are definitely going back to Baguio this is our favorite destination when all we want to do in our vacation is pig out, photo op and picnic while enjoying the cool breeze weather.  As I always joke around :

Buti pa sa Baguio malamig, sa Pilipinas ang init!

  1. This made me want to plan a Baguio trip this summer. It's been like 50 kyawsand years since I've been there (like mga early 2000's pa, kamusta naman). I hope you don't mind me asking, how much did you spend sa acommodation?
