Passport Processing

I accompany my hubby in processing his Passport and just want to share with you the procedure. The thing is my hubby appointment was supposed to be this Monday (7-Nov-11) but due to Holiday (Eidl Adha ) so the according to websiite the appointment has been moved any date given in the website, it is a week early from the said appointment date.

We went there at 5-Nov-11, in the event that your appointment has been moved for reason like holiday, the time will be followed as stated in the online appointment will also be followed.  We went there in DFA Macapagal early, and so we ate breakfast in McDonalds just in front of DFA building while waiting for our time.

At 11:30 AM we headed DFA and we were directed to GATE 1, to  be called. After calling the time scheduled we lined up to submit the Requirement both photocopy and original, you are required to submit the following requirements :

NSO issued Birth Certificate (Original and Photocopy)
2 Valid Governement issued copy (just present the original and submit the photocopy)

Then after the requirements verification, we headed to Door 1 and proceeded to 2nd floor to pay for the passport fee worth P1,200 for rush, then after paying proceeded to picture taking then we decided to pay for additional P120 to deliver the passport right in front of our doorstep.

It was fast and easy, since it was a Saturday so the applicants are lesser compared to ordinary days.

We are now just waiting for the passport to be delivered, right after 2weeks.
