2018 : 11th year Wedding Anniversary
My husband and I make it a point everytime we celebrate our wedding anniversary it will only be just the two of us less the kids, this way we can reset our perception as parents to husband and wife, more so boyfriend and girlfriend.
This year on our 11th year, we booked for a unit room in Tagaytay Prime Residence, thanks to our host Gerom even with a very short notice, he made the unit available for us and even made our celebration more special by setting up the room with a romantic vibe, set up the table with a wine for us.. this is not the first time we booked a unit from him, we were also here as family last December when we attended a wedding.
We arrived 2 hours early so we decided to eat at McDonald's just situatated in front of the condo, we had our lunch while enjoying the Taal Lake View. Just in time we finished our lunch we headed to our unit paid for it and entered the beautifully set up room just for us. We just had a sip of wine since we still had a long day to fill.
We headed to People's Park or Palace in the Sky, we choose this place since we have not been here since 2012, still same calmness when you reach the top to see the view, however the place was not really maintained well, beware if you have kids with you since a lot of rails are really rusty, there were stagnant water along the corners so I remind you to bring anti mosquitoes repellant with you all the time if you are planning to visit here. You will really get a picture worthy view in People's Park but if you have kids think again it is not safe and it is not really worth paying the 30php for the very poor facilities of this so-called park. We did not regret going here though since we had fun taking photos and just looking at the view is still breathtaking.
Our next stop was our dinner date, we were looking for a fine dining restaurant and we decided to go to Jose Filipino Sizzling that is located in SkyRanch. We were not really wrong about this decision, the food is really delictable, and their price was just right for the servings and the taste, they have Durian shake which really tastes good, and their Pancit Canton have a destintive taste that they only have, we ordered Mechado Sisig and Chili Wings too which really taste good for me we made a right choice, they even have 20% discount off from our total bill since they have this promo. We are definitely going back there and next time with our kids.
Hubby and I decided to have a chill time, so we bought Smoriff Mule and Tanduay Ice to drink while inside the room and just talk, laugh and share stories anything around the earth..
We really had a great time, our anniversary is really spent well and every minute of it is worth our memories.
To my husband, I love you and we are still far from perfect and I am looking forward for more years celebrating this very wonderful moment of my life which is our wedding day. This is my most favorite version of me being your wife.
