IMC Kavino Chinese Cuisine

Last New Year, our unit gave us a wonderful treat dinner in IMC Kavino Chinese Cuisine along Jupiter St in Makati City. The place was filled with expats of all kinds, being a not-so-fan of chinese cuisine then I should give  it a try...

We ordered Takoyaki, I can say that it was my favorite and the most delicious one I have eaten during the whole dinner.

Stir Fried Mixed Crunchy Vegetables, was great too just regular mix vegetables but since it is healthy food, so I liked it!

Next one is the Crispy Shrimp Temaki, which by the way I am allergic to, so did not dare eat it.

Sze Chuan Hot and Sour Soup got this soup but did not take it since as I have observed it is rich in flour and might make me an instant full.

Steamed Crab, too lazy to eat a crab with all the effort ending eating just a piece of meat, so did not dare eat it again.

Thai Style Mango Sauce, so enticing and so was the taste, mango sauce very well blended with the lapu-lapu taste!

IMCK Superior Hot Pot, this is somewhat like an adobo version with a little hint of paksiw na pata with somewhat like a little hair, which is a bit irritating for me, the taste was so-so but with the price not acceptable.

Savor Ginger Onion and Chicken in Casserole, so this menu got my attention and my 2nd favorite since the taste is a bit familiar to me, it is just like tinolang manok version with a twist of paksiw since it is a bit sour too.

We also got Chinese Pancit, this one is very different from Pinoy's traditional pancit since the color is so dull and not so attractive that no one even ate it.

A soothing mango juice that suits our dinner, was great but nothing was so special about it!

Our dessert was just a simple cold ginataang mongo in a small cup. That is the one we are drinking when we made a toast with my different nationality colleagues. Since it was sweet then I liked it!

Overall rating, it was so-so, it did not change my mind to be a chinese cuisine lover but we went home full, I took the left over food that was completely untouched, that was the pancit for the spirit of Christmas, I gave it all to our Subdivision guards as one of my good deed that day!

Thank you to our Head of Department for a wonderful dinner and bonding!!
