Summer 2017: Morong, Bataan

We chose a lot of destination for our road trip to celebrate our eldest 17th Birthday, and we decided to Morong, Bataan for our summer destination this 2017.

Travel time took us for 3hours and a half from Cavite, We left our place 3AM in order to avoid Edsa traffic, from Balintawak we exited at Subic North towards Subic Bay for our stop over to have our breakfast by the bay. It was a lovely morning and awesome way to start our vacation!

After our breakfast, we headed to Morong, Bataan and since we do not have our reservation made yet so we check all the resorts along the stretch of Morong, Bataan. We decided to stay at Benisa Beach Resort after our resort hopping, since Mang Ben who is the part owner of the resort is very accommodating, he even suggested to check out other resort first before we decide to check in,

Benisa Resort is beach front resort, they will assign table facing the beach for each room, it is spacious and the time we checked in there were only 1 family in the resort so it was not crowded, we had the relaxation that we always wanted while staying at Benisa.

Morong, Bataan beach is not white sand but it is grayish fine sand with a very clear water, it does not have to much waves it is similar to Boracay less the seaweeds, plus Morong, Bataan is still not that civilized so the stretch of the beach does not have any establishment except for the resort itself unlike Puerto Galera and Boracay, they also do not have night life, therefore Morong, Bataan is a vacation good for families or any one who wants out from City life!

We stayed in Benisa Resort for 3days and 2nights, since it is not civilized.  Benisa do not have their own restaurant so bringing your own food and cooking is allowed,  Luckily we bought portable stove powered by butane, we bought 2 butane for cooking our baon, instead if grilling it is easier to cook using this portable stove (a must buy for camping, hiking or outing) we have our cooked food and cold cuts with us but still we went out to buy for more food and we spotted Loleng's hu tieu-an for 2 straight days we keep on coming back!

Morong, Bataan have short stretch of beach while their sand is fine grayish texture, beach water is clear, we loved it there since we were really able to bond play cards with the kids, swim with them alternately in the pool and beach, surprisingly our kids love the beach more than the pool, We already able to visit Boracay but our 2nd daughter do not like Boracay beach because of the algae greeting her by the bay.

What we love about Morong, Bataan is that it is not yet civilized yet and the beach and the place itself!!
