Celebration : 12th year Wedding Anniversary

If you are planning for your next wedding anniversary by land out of town celebration, I suggest you may want to try visiting our very own San Juan, La Union.


Only take around 5 hours travel from Manila, you may chose to ride a bus or travel by car.
There are a lot of accomodations from backpackers, lodging, or decent hotels, hotels with pool, beach front for tourist who just want to relax and come to see the waves
Definitely food in San Juan La Union are affordable without sacrificing it's quality
If you are up to adventure, surfing lessons are available but if you just want to relax you may just want to lie by the beach and listening to the waves while sipping wine and munching chips
There are lot of tourist spot you want to visit when beach bumming is too much for you to handle. (Bahay na Bato, Tangadan Falls etc)
Night Life is definitely available plus the crowd are not rowdy they seem to have class, so just have fun!
If you want to buy souvenirs, I suggest you better by garlic or onion since they are known for having cheaper vegetable price compared in Manila, and their souvenir items are also a bit pricey
If you are not going to surf be ready to get bloated! (Ahem just like what we did!!)
Stay in Urbiztondo, San Juan La Union if you want a night life, surfing lessons and food trippin! It is where the life at!
Coffee Library is the place for chillin their food are generously served while their price is definitely within your budget.
Planet G Unlimited Korean BBQ was super hit, for only 349PHP you will get unlimited pork, beef and chicken with all the side dishes that we truly enjoyed~ really makes us so bloated but satisfied!!


Weather that time when we arrived was nice and so are the waves enveloping the surfer as we watched them, I do not have the guts to try surfing since I really have bad cramps, watching and listening to the waves is life for me plus taking photo!

We stayed in San Juan Surf Resort in Urbiztondo, San Juan La Union, since we went there without any booking reservation so this is the only hotel that offers room for us, it is a beach front hotel offers free breakfast the only thing that they do not have is pool since hubby and I did not surf, hotel with a pool would really be a plus.

We were glad we chose San Juan La Union this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary!!
