Harry Potter Theme : DIY Griffyndor Tie, Daily Prophet, Most Wanted, Potions, Hedwig and the cage, Luggages, Nimbus 2000 and Floating Acceptance Letter

Griffyndor Tie

Materials Needed:
Felt Cloth (your choice of house color)
Tie Pattern

This is so easy just cut the felt cloth as the tie then paste another color of felt paper as the color combination of your desired house color. My second daughter has always been a Gryffindor Fan so we have Maroon and Yellow combination.


Daily Prophet and Most Wanted
This is a no brainer, just get a sample material over the internet then print as many as you can to cover the event area with the posts and make Hogwarts alive!

Potions
Good thing we love home essential oils for our living area and masterbedroom so all empty bottles were collected then just added food coloring in the water then Potions it is!!  My eldest daughter helped me with the lettering for  each potion bottle and to make the paper really looks antique we soaked the paper in a tea water then let it dry.

Hedwig and the cage and Luggages

Hedwig Owl is my youngest Twiggy stuff owl toy, while the cage we bought a glass handle then put a wire on it to cover to make it look like cage, we have to spray paint it with black.

Luggages
We have used boxes size is just about right then covered it with Brown Paper tied it with yarn to make look like a luggage!

Nimbus 2000 was just bought in a local store, while Floating Acceptance Letter were made of envelope thin white thread we tied in a balloon hang it in the ceiling to make look like it is floating letters!
